Our platform is designed to be simple and easy to use, so you can start raising funds in minutes. GeltUp charges only a 2% platform fee (in addition to the standard 2.9% payment processing fee from Stripe or PayPal), so more of the money you raise goes directly to your cause.
Both individuals and nonprofit organizations can create campaigns on GeltUp. - Individuals can raise money for personal causes, community needs, events, or creative projects. - Nonprofit organizations can run campaigns or create a Daily Page to receive ongoing donations year-round.
Creating a campaign on GeltUp is simple: - Click "Gelt Up Your Cause". - Fill out the campaign form (title, story, goal, images, etc.). - Connect your Stripe or PayPal account to receive funds. - Review and click Launch. - Your campaign will be live immediately and ready to receive donations.
A Daily Page is a dedicated donation page for approved nonprofit organizations that allows them to receive donations all year long, without creating a new campaign each time. It is ideal for ongoing fundraising and supporter engagement.
GeltUp charges a simple and transparent fee structure: - 2% platform fee per donation. - Standard payment processing fees from Stripe or PayPal (around 2.9%). Donors are not required to cover any fees. We believe giving should feel simple and transparent.
No. GeltUp does not manage or use your funds. Donations are processed securely through Stripe or PayPal and transferred to the campaign organizer. In some cases, funds may briefly pass through GeltUp's payment processing accounts before being transferred to the organizer, after applicable fees.
Yes. All payments are processed through trusted providers Stripe and PayPal, which use industry-leading security and encryption standards.
Yes. Every donor automatically receives a confirmation email receipt after making a donation.
Donations are only tax-deductible if the campaign is run by a verified nonprofit organization and clearly marked as such. GeltUp does not provide tax advice. Donors should consult a tax professional for guidance.
GeltUp uses a "keep-it-all" model. This means you keep all funds raised, even if you do not reach your goal. You also receive donations as they come in, without waiting for the campaign to end.
Yes. You can log into your account at any time and edit or update your campaign from your dashboard.
